UK Sales Manager

Boston based - UK Field Based

Salary £50,000 - £70,000pa + Bonus

With offices in the UK and Europe you will be joining an industry recognised organisation. Due to growth within the business, our client is now looking for an experienced UK Sales Manager who will play an integral role in the business, managing the Area Sales Managers, Marketing Manager and Sales Administrator, you will have a real focus on people, with the passion to develop and coach to build a high performing sales division.

As the UK Sales Manager you will come with a wealth of experience in sales, and with products of a high value. You will be tasked with up-skilling and developing a UK sales team in order to drive company revenue. You will be forecasting and strategising the year ahead to ensure targets are achieved.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Work with your sales team to put budgets in place for the year ahead.
  • Developing and coaching the sales teams in all areas of the business to ensure they are reaching their maximum potential.
  • Close coordination of product management and pricing.
  • Set growth strategies in-line with market conditions.
  • Ensure that positive customer relationships are being built, and the organisation is the brand of choice.
  • Work with and report to the Managing Director, feedback on market conditions, team performance, and plans of action.

You will be:

  • Experienced in a Sales Management role, where you have managed field and office-based teams.
  • Experienced in sales with high value goods - Machinery/construction/ Agricultural desirable.
  • A people focused, confident manager.
  • A strong communicator across all levels within the business as well as with customers and dealers.
  • A strong negotiator, being able to find the right solutions for a 'win-win' for all parties.
  • A commercial, numerical, and analytical thinker.
  • Able to juggle multiple duties and able to problem solve.

With the head office base in Boston, it is important that you are able to commute to the office regularly, there will also be a requirement to travel across the UK. (Company car provided)
