Acting Store Manager

Reigate

Salary: £27,000 - £29,000 DOE + Bonus & Great Benefits

We have a brand new, exciting opportunity to join an independent cycling retailer located in Reigate Our client is looking for a passionate and enthusiastic Store Manager to add to their growing team, to lead daily operations and sales of the store. With over 10 stores currently, this is great time to join as they look to expand their company wider!

The Role of Acting Store Manager:

  • Manage your team and lead by example.
  • Working closely with the Area Manager to continually improve performance and drive KPI's.
  • Responsible for driving store targets and communicating those amongst the team.
  • Organising the shop rota, communicating holiday allowances for staff and monitor appropriate.
  • Orderbook Management: Arranging order collections on bikes, parts, accessories, and clothing. Driving your team to achieve weekly targets through effective orderbook management.
  • Managing ETA's, updating customers, accurate note taking on orders to maintain excellent customer service.
  • Coaching and developing your team members in all aspects of their role, conducting one-to one meetings.
  • Keyholder Responsibilities - Opening/Closing store, Cashing up, CCTV monitoring.
  • Maintain high Health & Safety standards and adhere to all Health & Safety policies.
  • You will be required to work weekends.

About you:

  • Management experience in a retail setting
  • Understand and comply with all health and safety procedures.
  • Advise and recommend products and services to suit customer need and budget.
  • Have a passion for providing excellent customer service.
  • Always have a positive approach to your work.
  • Strong ability to drive sales and be a strong motivator for your team.
  • Understanding of how to assemble bikes and/or passion for cycling.
