Are you an experienced Store Manager looking for a new challenge?
We have an exciting opportunity with a luxury retailer based in Notting Hill. We are seeking a dynamic, motivated and customer-focused individual to join the team as Store Manager.
Reporting into the Directors, you will be responsible for leading the day-to-day operations of the store, providing excellent customer service and managing staff performance. You must possess strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate your team to ensure maximum sales growth and profitability. Excellent communication skills are also essential in order to build relationships with customers and suppliers alike.
Store Manager - the role:
- Manage the daily operations of the store, including sales, customer service, inventory management and staff scheduling.
- Develop strategies to increase sales and customer satisfaction in order to maximize profitability.
- Monitor store performance against budgeted targets and take corrective action when necessary.
- Train, motivate and develop team members in order to create a high-performing retail environment that meets company standards for quality customer service and operational excellence.
- Lead by example with excellent product knowledge and a positive attitude towards customers at all times.
- Maintain accurate records of stock levels, pricing changes, promotions etc., using POS systems or other software tools available in the store.
Store Manager - the person:
- Minimum of 3 years' experience as a Store Manager in the retail or hospitality sector.
- Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate and develop teams.
- Strong organisational and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently.
- Excellent customer service skills with an understanding of customer needs.
- Ability to analyse sales data and implement strategies for improvement.
- Good IT literacy including knowledge of EPOS systems and Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel & Outlook.
- Knowledge of health & safety regulations, stock control procedures and merchandising standards within a retail environment.
- Proven track record in achieving sales targets while maximising profit margins through effective cost management techniques.
