Retail Store Manager - Convenience

Enfield

Salary £35,000 + Bonus + Benefits

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Store Manager to lead the opening our clients new store in Enfield, London. As a Store Manager, you will lead a team, maximize sales, ensure exceptional customer service, and drive operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage day-to-day operations of the site.
  • To lead and motivate a team of store employees, providing guidance, training, and performance management.
  • Drive sales growth by implementing effective marketing strategies, merchandising plans, and customer engagement initiatives.
  • Ensure high customer service standards, maintaining a welcoming and customer-focused store environment.
  • Monitor inventory levels, manage stock replenishment, and conduct regular stock checks.
  • Implement and maintain store policies and procedures, ensuring health and safety regulations compliance.
  • Analyse sales data and KPIs to identify areas for improvement and develop action plans accordingly.
  • Collaborate with suppliers and distributors to optimize product assortment and availability.
  • Handle customer complaints and resolve issues in a timely and satisfactory manner.
  • Monitor competitor activity and market trends to stay ahead of the competition.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Previous experience as a Store Manager or Assistant Store Manager in retail, preferably in a convenience store or grocery setting.
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Strong customer service orientation and excellent communication skills.
  • UK Driver's License holder
  • BIIAB Personal License holder
  • Sound knowledge of retail operations, inventory management, and merchandising.
  • Ability to analyse sales data and make data-driven decisions.
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations in a retail environment.
  • Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and varying shifts as required.
