Sous Chef - Casual Dining

£25,000 per annum + excellent benefits

We are currently looking for a Sous Chef to support the Head Chef in managing the kitchen operation within their main onsite restaurant, leading the team to deliver exceptional food quality whilst achieving financial targets and KPI's. The ideal candidate will have experience as a Sous Chef within a high-volume branded restaurant or pub environment, plus excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and maintain/train the correct team levels
  • Accurate food-ordering and stocking levels, including all kitchen materials
  • Manage wastage through correct product measurement
  • Work safely around kitchen equipment and monitor and deal with any maintenance issues
  • Always adhere to all company policies and procedures
  • Carry out instructions given by the management team
  • Present food with the brand standard and spec at all times
