Salary £40,000 - £46,000 per annum + benefits + company car or travel card

Due to expansion, a newly created opportunity has arisen to join one of the UK's leading charity retailers as a Regional Manager, District Manager, Area Manager covering 15 stores across the North East of London. My client is a growing charity and one of the leading charity organisations in the UK.

Reporting into the Head of Operations, you will be responsible for c15 shops across the North East of London. Shop locations include North Finchley, Highgate, Muswell Hill and Stoke Newington to name a few. Employee wellbeing and work/life balance is very important to our charity partner so they will only consider candidates who live on the area within North East London or within a very close travel distance.

Retail Regional Manager - The role:

  • Meet and exceed sales targets and increase profits.
  • Analyse all reports and commercial information available to help improve the performance of stores.
  • Ensure all controllable costs are managed and minimised, ensuring all expenditure is necessary and justified.
  • Identify current retail trends, monitor competitor activity, reporting and responding where appropriate.
  • Support the business strategy and implement new plans/ideas to achieve business targets.
  • Inspire and lead store managers to ensure impeccable standards are established and maintained in all stores across all channels, including administration, housekeeping, systems and operational procedures.
  • Ensure all stores are adhering to the company H&S guidelines and legislation.

Retail Regional Manager - The person:

  • A strong retail background preferably gained within the charity or retail sector as a Regional Manager, District Manager or Area Manager.
  • Proven experience of managing a team to include, recruitment, training, development, performance management as well as motivating a team to achieve business objectives.
  • Experience of budget management and forecasting.
  • Experience of working to and achieving sales targets.
  • Be a role model for your team and for your colleagues.
  • Ability to lead, motivate and develop individuals to facilitate high performance.
  • Passion for charity retailing.
  • Full, clean UK driving license
