Part Time Showroom Assistant - Luxury Furnishings
Salary - £10.15 - £11 per hour plus great benefits

15 hours per week

An amazing opportunity for a Showroom Assistant to join this luxury furnishings company to play an integral part in maximising sales at their beautiful showroom in Cambridge on a part time basis. This is a growing organisation that offers a fantastic work/life balance with excellent benefits.

Key Responsibilities of the role include:

  • Maintaining the brand image to the highest standards and ensuring the showroom, stockroom and all displays are neat and tidy at all times.
  • Initiate inspiring customer interaction by building and maintaining meaningful relationships to recognise customer requirements.
  • Ensuring that customers are always extended the highest levels of customer service, serving Customer in a courteous and professional manner, handling customer complaints efficiently and providing accurate advice on colour and suitability.
  • Assisting with stock management ensuring deliveries are put away timely and ensuring the shop floor is replenished at all times.
  • Processing cash and credit transactions accurately, dealing with customer refunds
  • Assist or carry out other duties during periods of high workload, sickness, holidays and emergencies.

Experience Required:

  • Experience gained within a retail environment, ideally from a one-to-one customer environment.
  • A background and interest in interior design would be advantageous.
  • Able to upsell products and maximise sales opportunities.
  • Able to multitask in a fast- paced environment.
  • Customer focused and service driven.
  • Well organised and methodical.
  • Strong communicator with the ability to build a rapport naturally with customers.
