Night-time Relief Manager

Covering: Erdington, Birmingham and Coventry

Salary up to £28,000pa DOE

C2 Recruitment is working with an organisation who have been a firm favourite on the high street for many years, seeing customers return time and time again. This is a newly created position and our client is seeking a Night-Time Relief Manager to support their all-important night trade. They are looking for an experienced, passionate, customer focused Manager. Supporting a number of their venues across the Birmingham area.

As Night-Time relief manager, you will play an integral part of business operations, ensuring that all sites are fully covered, and all staff have been trained to highest level. A great opportunity to bring you managerial skills to help motivate, develop and inspire the next generation of managers. You will take ownership for staff, supervisors, as well as ensuring customers are happy and company targets are being met.

*Please note that this is a night-time position, venues operate 24 hours. Therefore, please only apply if you are able to work overnight weekdays and weekends.

Main Duties of Night-time Relief Manager:

  • People Development: Ensuring staff are managed correctly. Recruiting, on boarding, training and development and nurturing great talent for future management.

  • Financial Cash Control & Paperwork: Ensure that the end of day reports are reconciled correctly, all admin is completed accurately and reported, ensuring that you are keeping control of store labour spends and costs.

  • Standards: Set the expectations for the team in all areas of the business, from communication, customer service and teamwork. You will be living and breathing the company visions and values each and every shift.

  • Security & Safety: Oversee and ensure that the venue is safe for visitor and staff. Conduct regular health and safety checks and reporting any immediate issues.

  • Legal: Be responsible for the venues gambling licence and ensure your team know the licencing objectives.

About you:

  • From a customer facing environment, Retail, Hospitality, leisure

  • Assistant Manager or Manager level.

  • Experienced in managing a team, no smaller than 3.

  • Confident in working with difficult and challenging situations with staff and customers.

  • Bringing you experience from a similar role, with a minimum of 2 years service.

  • Knowledgeable about managing the P&L and working towards targets and KPI's

  • A team player, thriving to be the best out on the high street.

  • Commercially aware, able to understand trends and habit of your customers in order to put actions in place to improve the venues revenue.
