Retail Manager - Menswear

Bury St Edmunds

Salary up to £35,000pa + profit bonus + generous uniform allowance

Located in the beautiful market town of Bury St Edmunds our client is a well-established menswear retailer who is seeking a Store Manager to join their highly successful team.

As Store Manager, you will be passionate about menswear and an expert in the Made to Measure field. Offering their clients, a curated collection of blended elegant classics with modern day styles, they have built a loyal customer base. All products have been produced to the highest standards, using individually selected producers-based on the quality and service they provide, another reason why they are loved by their clients.

Within this role you will be the face of the brand, setting high standards in customer service. You will be confident in working with a wide range of different customer profiles and be able to adapt to each of their individual needs. As you grow within your role, working alongside the owner of the business you will have the possibility of being involved in different aspects of the business. This is a fantastic opportunity to develop a highly successful career in the menswear and tailoring field.

As Store Manager you will be:

  • Passionate about Menswear, and from a Menswear sale environment.
  • Experienced in Made to Measure - this is a MUST as it is a high percentage of the business sales.
  • A people person with a desire to train and develop a well-established team.
  • Knowledgeable and passionate about men's fashion and current trends.
  • A leader in customer service, understanding current shopping patterns and shopping behaviours with the ability to adapt to a high-profile, well-established client base, in order to continue to grow and develop.
  • Experienced in visual merchandising, able to assess best sellers and ensure the boutique is always looking its best.
  • A team player, able to support in other areas of the business, with a passion to learn and develop your own skill set.
  • Experienced in managing a team of no less than 5 in a retail environment.
  • Sales driven, with the ability to asses new ways to increase the stores revenue.
