Our client is a well-established international Cinema brand who are proud to be the second largest cinema operator in the world. Currently they operate a portfolio in excess of 100 cinemas in the UK, which is steadily growing with many more new openings in the pipeline for the future. This exciting, innovative company promote a large number of their managers through internal progression and offer an exceptional experience for customer and employee alike. We are currently recruiting for a General Manager to take the lead in managing one of their fantastic cinemas.

The ideal candidate will have experience as a General Manager within the hospitality or leisure industry at a high-volume site and a proven track record of delivering strong sales. You will need to be motivated, enthusiastic and have a real passion for exceptional customer service in addition to the ability to train and develop a large team and great financial knowledge. Passion for film and cinema is essential!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Complete responsibility for the entire cinema operation
  • Recruitment, training and development of the cinema management team
  • Budgetary management including controlling costs such as labour, stock etc
  • Ensure delivery of an excellent customer journey from start to finish
  • Adherence to all company policies Health and Safety legislation, monitoring compliance and maintaining standards
  • Performance management
  • Operations management
  • Implementing marketing initiatives and events to drive sales
