My client is one of the world's largest contemporary art galleries, they have huge growth plans and are now seeking a Gallery Manager to lead the team at their gallery based in Leamington Spa.

Reporting into the Area Sales Manager, the ideal candidate will be sales driven and highly motivated with the ability to lead a successful team. You will demonstrate excellent communication and organisational skills, with a passion for delivering a memorable customer experience.

Gallery Manager responsibilities:

  • Lead the team to create an exceptional customer experience by building rapport, sharing product knowledge and catering to your clients' needs.
  • Reporting into the Area Sales Manager you will develop and motivate your team, identifying opportunities to develop your galleries client base.
  • Develop loyalty with customers through a one-on-one consultative approach to sales.
  • Achievement of gallery sales targets and KIPI's.
  • Develop long term client relationships.
  • Be the expert and keep up to date with Artist facts and knowledge.
  • Meet and host contemporary Artists within the Gallery to promote and sell their work.

What we're looking for:

  • You will be a proactive, motivated and enthusiastic Manager, with a real drive to achieve exceptional results
  • We are looking for an engaging and confident individual with an understanding of exceptional customer service.
  • A proven track record of achieving sales targets.
  • Experience with following up leads and developing strong relationships with clients.
  • Prior knowledge of art is not required as full training is provided.
