Field Sales Rep - South East Territory

Well established Toy & Gifting Company

Salary up to £33,000pa (DOE) + Bonus

Our client is a well established and growing toy and gifting company who are looking for an experienced Field Sales Rep to join the team in the South East area!

In this role you will be the face of the brand. Driven to build strong relations with new and existing customers. Covering a large part of the UK, from Lincoln down to Portsmouth! Therefore, you will be an experienced sales rep, who is highly organised; can map out their week to ensure new doors are being targeted and current customers are being visited.

Our client is all about people, build strong relations and having a one team mentality. They will continue to ensure your personal development is mapped out, and also offer every other Friday afternoon off!

As Sales Rep, your key responsibilities will be:

  • To identify and develop new and existing accounts. Negotiate and renew terms.
  • Bring in new business to generate income for your territory.
  • Present new product ranges to current and new customer.
  • Build strong relationships with clients, educating them on current trends, slow movers and how to manage stock.
  • Work with customers to ensure repeat orders are processed in line with inventory and product launch dates.
  • Be present in industry trade shows

As Sales Rep you will be experienced in:

  • Working within a multi-channel retail sales environment: in a Field Sales/ Territory Manager capacity.
  • Hunting, and bringing on new business. This is a big part of the role, and you therefore have to be passionate about identify and building new relationships.
  • Communicating - be able to build strong relations through email, phone and face to face meetings.
  • Analysing your own sales performance and putting actions in place to ensure you achieve targets, and present you sales performance to senior management,
  • Being on the road! Able to route plan and book in appointments. Managing your time efficiently.

As this is a field-based role, you must be comfortable with being on the road 4 out of 5 days. Be able to plan your time accordingly. There may be overnight stays required due to the size of the area you need to cover, as well as occasional visits to the head offices.
