Events Manager - Fine Dinning Catering Company

London Office Based

Salary £30,000pa + benefits

Our client is an award winning catering company who still hold people at the heart of what they do. Specialising in weddings, private parties and corporate events, providing delicious food packed with personality and flavour! Their food has been featured in leading industry magazines and articles, so this is a GREAT time to join!!

They are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Events Manager to assist them with their growth. As event manager you will be responsible for the planning, running and organisation future bookings. You will work closely with the creative team to bring the clients vision to LIFE! You'll bring with you your drive and passion for events and hospitality, knowledge and insights of the industry, as well as great organisational skills!

Key Responsibilities for an Events Manager:

  • Complete daily detailed and clear event sheets for each event as well as detailed service plans for food and beverage
  • Booking in staff such as bartenders, front of house and back of house.
  • Ordering equipment for events
  • Arranging travel and accommodation for events outside of London.
  • Putting together pack lists based on the event requirements
  • Liaising with our executive and head chef on bespoke and current menus for each event.
  • Responsible for all post event work such as client and staff feedback calls, charging for losses and extra hours for staff where necessary.
  • Supplying quotes and ensuring all final invoices are issued in a timely manner.
  • Staff scheduling
  • Leading tasting for both clients and new partners.

About you:

  • Have experience working in events for a minimum of 3 years
  • Experience successfully managing a mid to large team
  • Understanding of HR processes
  • Have a positive and collaborative management style
  • Organised and creative
  • Able to build and maintain client and supplier relationships
  • A passion for events and food
