£10.75 per hour
Full Time 35 hours per week

My client is a growing and ambitious charity organisation with stores across London.
To be a successful Assistant Shop Manager with my client you will have sound retail experience and the ability to supervise a team are essential in this post, you will have strong experience within a retail and customer focused environment and have a creative flair with a strong eye for detail.The Assistant manager's role is to help the shop manager reach the shops budgeted target,
The Assistant Manager will monitor the shop daily to ensure it is properly managed along with the shop manager, opening the shop in a safe, professional and customer focused environment at all times.

Role responsibilities:

• Sorting & displaying the donated stock for the shop floor
• Steaming and pricing of the clothing
• Recruitment & Training of volunteers
• Arranging window displays
• Building relationships with staff and customers
• Ensuring all shops are following the agreed procedure as set out in the shop manual
• Daily paperwork and banking as required
• Managing the shop when staff have holidays/sickness
• Managing the staff rota when needed
• Help refit shops as/when needed.
• Help with the cleaning of the shop
• Supporting the shop manager with shop duties
