Our client is a multi-national cinema operator who are passionate about delivering the very best cinema experience, teamed with a first class food and beverage operation and state of the art technology. The Assistant Manager will assist in the day to day management of their on site branded coffee shop, ensuring company policies and procedures are adhered to. You will direct Team Members to ensure efficient working practices are maintained and that the highest standard of customer service is met at all times, whilst ensuring revenue targets are achieved and costs are controlled effectively.
The ideal candidate will be a trained Barista with experience as a Supervisor or Assistant Manager within a fast-paced, customer focused environment and will be motivated, enthusiastic and have a real passion for exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities: * Lead a team through opening and closing shifts dealing with any situations that may arise and delegating jobs to other staff where necessary
* Ensure that all relevant brand standards, food and health & safety checks are completed and that all necessary remedial action is taken, or issues escalated as required
* Maintain cash & stock security and that all transactions involving stock &/or cash are completed in a secure manner
* Help train new staff and to train current staff with any changes in standards or policies
* Place orders in line with business needs following instructions from the store manager
