Assistant General Manager - Boutique Cinema and Restaurant

£28,000 per annum + benefits

We are currently recruiting for a fantastic opportunity at a stunning boutique cinema and restaurant concept from one of the leading independent cinema companies in the UK. Our client brings a truly unmatched experience, merging cinema with a fabulously designed bar and restaurant offering a tantalizing range of food and drink and exceptional service standards. The venue consists of fully licensed studios boasting luxurious extra wide sofas along with state of the art laser projection to ensure an outstanding and unforgettable experience.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and business-minded Assistant General Manager / Deputy Manager who has experience of managing multi-faceted hospitality operations and is able to inspire and motivate a large team in delivering an exceptional guest experience.

Key Responsibilities of the Assistant General Manager:

  • Deputise in the absence of the General Manager
  • Set and maintain a clear direction for your team, with appropriate use of standards, targets and goal setting.
  • Analysis of the P&L, forecasting realistic sales, labour and food budgets.
  • Measure individual and team performance using factual measurement tools, including mystery reports, HR audits, external and internal Operational audits.
  • Maintain all standards of health, hygiene and safety, providing employees, contractors, guests and all other visitors, a safe working and dining environment.
  • Play an active role in floor operations, leading your team and engaging with guests.
  • Recruit, train, evaluate, motivate, delegate and monitor an engaged team.
