Shropshire/Staffordshire/Cheshire - Field Based

Salary £38,000 - £48,000pa + Bonus

With offices in the UK and in Europe you will be joining an industry recognised organisation. Due to growth within the business, our client is now looking for an experienced Area Sales Manager to cover the Shropshire, Staffordshire, and Cheshire region.

As Area Sales Manager you play an integral part of the business, being the brand representative, you must therefore have the right people skills; to listen to needs and wants of existing and new clients. Making regular visits, you will be able to plan your diary accordingly to ensure you area is covered, and sales opportunities are maximised to achieve and grow your sales targets.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Manage, maintiain and create new relationships with clients across your area.
  • Achieve sales targets, with the drive to exceed. Forecasting and budgeting for the months ahead.
  • Work on quotes and present order proposals to clients.
  • Identify new business within your area.
  • Promote all company products and services - showcasing your passion and knowledge for the industry and product, putting our client the supplier of choice.
  • Reporting of your sales achievements and actions to senior management.
  • Working with dealers in the area, setting strategies, monitoring standards and ensuring they are representing the brand in accordance with company expectations.

You will be:

  • Knowledgeable about the Agricultural industry, or experienced in a silmalar role, working with high value products.
  • Tech savvy - able to work with changes in technology and confident in demonstrating this to your sales conversations.
  • A strong communicator able to adapt to different clients and dealers, as well as senior management with the business.
  • A pragmatic thinker able to present solutions that are a win-win for all parties.

This role will require travel across the area, you must therefore hold a full clean driving license (Company car provided).
