I started my retail career in 1994 as a temporary employee with Toys R Us setting up their Shrewsbury store. 6 months later I was promoted to Supervisor and soon after was selected to join the company management training programme. I went on to spend nearly 9 years with Toys R Us progressing to Store Manager. Seeking a fresh new challenge, I then joined Tesco as a Senior Manager and spent 4 years working in Superstores North before moving into recruitment where I joined a leading fashion and retail consultancy in Birmingham.
I set up C2 Recruitment in June 2008 and since then we have enjoyed rapid expansion primarily on the back of strong recommendations. All of our team have either worked in retail or have recruited in retail and this makes us different to our competitors. We understand what it’s like to work in the industry and this helps us get the right candidates for our clients.
