A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced and dynamic venue Sales Manager to join a busy, forward thinking sales team based in Telford.
Target orientated, you will take a proactive approach in maximizing revenue across the Group by driving through sales and identifying and securing new business. You will have a proven track record in developing and maintaining business relationships in order to retain and develop new venue sales.
You should have a flexible approach to work as the role will entail a mix of work from office and home base, alongside working in the venue and the rest of the time out visiting prospects/clients depending on the needs of the department. There is also the requirement for some out of hours and weekend working.
We are looking for a confident, passionate and enthusiastic individual with a thorough knowledge of the venues market to join our professional Sales team. Excellent interpersonal skills, with experience of presenting to groups of people at various levels, you must be able to demonstrate strong negotiation skills and a proven track record in developing new business opportunities. You will also possess good working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages including word, excel, outlook and PowerPoint.
