Salary: Circa - £32,000 per annum
Full Time ( no late nights )

We are recruiting an experienced Store Manager to lead a large-format retail operation for a well-established organisation undergoing an exciting period of growth and development.

This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially focused retail leader who enjoys developing high-performing teams, delivering exceptional customer experiences and driving sales performance.

As Store Manager, you will have full responsibility for the day-to-day operation of the store, ensuring strong commercial results whilst maintaining the highest standards of customer service and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, motivate and develop a team of staff and volunteers to create a positive and high-performing culture.
• Drive sales, profitability and overall store performance.
• Recruit, train, coach and develop team members.
• Deliver outstanding customer service and create an engaging shopping experience.
• Manage all aspects of store operations, including stock control, merchandising and visual presentation.
• Monitor and improve key performance indicators and commercial results.
• Oversee goods intake, stock flow and inventory management.
• Build strong relationships with customers and the local community.
• Support marketing and promotional activities, including social media engagement.
• Ensure compliance with health & safety legislation and company policies.
• Manage rotas, resource planning and team performance.
• Maintain high standards of housekeeping, organisation and store presentation.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Previous experience as a Store Manager, Retail Manager or Branch Manager.
• A proven track record of delivering sales growth and commercial success.
• Experience managing large-format retail environments.
• Strong leadership and people management skills.
• Experience coaching, developing and motivating teams.
• Excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities.
• A hands-on management style with the ability to lead from the front.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Good understanding of retail compliance and health & safety requirements.
• Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office.
• A full UK driving licence.
