Regional Sales and Training Manager - Furniture/Homeware Brand

Fantastic Opportunity to join a growing, prestigious retailer
Salary £60,000-£80,000 per annum dependant on experience plus benefits including bonus and car allowance.
My client is a well-established, prestigious homeware retailer. They currently have an exciting opportunity to join them in the position of Regional Sales and Training Manager to manage
Reporting directly into the CEO, you will be supervising and coaching over 15 stores nationally and be accountable for driving top line growth by raising the level of skills, productivity and competencies of the retail teams.
Responsibilities:
- Drive top line growth within the Stores.
- Benchmark and review all Stores' performance against agreed goals, objectives, KPI's, metrics and brand guide lines
- Instill training and retail disciplines through journey plan of follow up visits to all stores regionally
- Deliver sales training programs and tools for all Sales Teams - UK
- Delivery of the training programs at induction programs and locally at Stores
- Work with Store Managers and Regional Managers to cascade the sales and training plan
- Ensure that all training and development activities have at their core the values and vision of the Brands
- Manage retention through a succession management strategy in collaboration with Head of Sales & Training
- Partner with CEO, Marketing, Sales and Finance team on sales strategy and roll-out of related activities
- Support the Retail Op's team with regular DNA reports, necessary feedback and action points with the Store Team.
Experience required:
- At least 5 - 7 years' experience in managing sales and training activities independently for a retailer ideally within homewares/furniture.
- Commercially driven sales professional with evidenced talent for achieving results and working to budget deadlines.
- Proven track record of performance management activities and building teams.
- Experience of designing and delivering a variety of retail and product training solutions to individuals and groups.
- Experienced in mentoring and coaching all levels.
- Demonstrates high standards and is an inspiring role model.
- Can empower sales team to remove obstacles hindering outstanding performance.
- Ability to forge strong working relationships with managers, staff and external partners and clients; strong influencing skills.
- A can do attitude with energy/determination to see projects through to completion.
- Strong motivation to support and embrace organisational improvement and change.
- A strong communicator, both in writing and spoken communications.
- Financially aware, understands and applies financial principles.
This role would be ideal for an experienced Head of Retail/ Divisional Manager/Regional Manager candidate who is experienced in reporting directly into a CEO.
