Management/Cost Accountant
Birmingham - Head office based
Monday to Friday (half day working on Friday) - 35 hours per week
Salary up to £45,000 per annum depending on experience plus benefits

Our client is a high-profile, leading manufacturing company, they are now seeking to appoint a Management Accountant. Reporting into an Experienced Finance Director you will be responsible for the smooth running and consistent operations of the finance department.
This is a newly created position for a current Assistant Management Accountant looking to step or a current Management Accountant looking for a new challenge.

Key Duties

• Controlling the creation, costing of all products within the business.
• Measuring profitability of all products.
• Variance reporting and Analysis of all products imported.
• Adhoc cost analysis reports.
• Working with Product development to assess margin on products.
• Preparation of reports for management.
• Far East Supplier management.
• Reporting of Royalties.
• Providing regular forecast for Licensors

The person

• Excellent analytical skills with an attention to detail
• Computer Literacy, MS excel in particular
• Knowledge of accounting procedures.
• Understanding of importing and product supply chain
• Be highly motivated, ambitious and driven.
• Commercial knowledge would be a huge advantage in this role.
• High attention to detail and accuracy

• Basic salary of £35,000 per annum - £45,000 per annum, depending on experience plus additional benefits
