Head Chef/Kitchen Manager
£25,000 + tips
Full Time - 4.5 days (Wednesday - Sunday)
Our exclusive client specialises in modern British cuisine with a focus on quality fresh local produce and friendly attentive service. Serving a comprehensive menu including traditional A La Carte, small plates, brunch, salads, and sandwiches. They also boast a comfortable bar lounge area serving cocktails, beers, ciders, and many more choices.
We are excited to be hiring a Head Chef/Kitchen Manager to join our family and team. You will be responsible for ensuring great tasting, awesome dishes are consistently produced with a positive leadership and team culture that drive for excellence. Under your leadership the dishes will be always to a high standard, correct recipe, and presentation spec, served in a prompt and timely manner. The stock as well as staff scheduling will always be managed effectively. Your site will be a safe & hygienic place to work with 5* cleanliness and procedures always followed. And finally you will be continually coaching and training staff, always leading by example and ensuring a team full of superstars.

The role of Kitchen Manager/Head Chef will include but will not be limited to the following.
- Proven track record of a similar experience within a fast paced environment.
- Exceptional service standards with attention to detail.
- Leadership and delegation skills including the ability to train and mentor a team.
- Excellent communication skills and willingness to work as part of a team.
- Good command of English with the ability to communicate confidently.
- Working with and managing external suppliers where necessary.
- Implementing and following company policies.
- Ensuring compliance with H&S requirements.
- Stock management/reporting.
