We are a recruiting for a very popular, high-quality restaurant and cocktail bar in the heart of the Shrewsbury Town centre. They have an excellent reputation both with tourists and with locals to Shropshire, serving incredible street food and are now looking for a Commis Chef to join their already brilliant team.

The role is a full-time position contracted between 40 & 44 hours per week. You will always receive at least two days off per week, receiving a full training programme for you to grow and excel throughout your position with us. We offer numerous opportunities for you to progress, whilst offering a performance related bonus scheme plus tips as well.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a similar role, a self-starter who can work in a team that is focused on delivering the very best food possible. You will be passionate and want to deliver high standards all the time, being a great communicator with a positive attitude. Working with the rest of the kitchen team to ensure consistently high standards in both service and kitchen management. The ideal candidate will have good food knowledge and Health and Safety standards, passion for cooking and bags of enthusiasm.
