Christmas Retail Assistant

Salary: £8.95 per hour

Location: Hull

Retail & Asset Solutions are looking to take on Retail Stock Assistants to join our existing teams during the run up to Christmas, with continuous work also available throughout the New Year!

The Role

• We are looking for Retail Assistants to support in stock replenishment and stock counts.
• Most stores and shifts offered in the run up to Christmas will be local to the advertised area and we will require you to be able to make your own way to and from sites.
• You will be responsible for ensuring stock is replenished or counted as quickly and accurately whilst using a handheld scanner.
• Being able to stand for prolonged periods of time is needed for the role and access equipment may have to be used on occasion to reach high stock
• Most shifts offered will be for 8 - 10 hours, starting at various times of the day and night.

Key Skills/ Experience Required

• Due to the nature of our work, you may be asked to work unsociable hours including early mornings and during the night when required. As a result, we can only accept applicants 18 years and over
• You must have a 'can do' attitude and be able to work long shifts where required on large counts.
• With our innovative business, the technology changes and therefore being a quick learner is a key skill required.
• Any experience of handling stock is an advantage but not a necessity.
