Our client, a leading regional law firm are seeking to appoint Business Development Executive / Business Development Assistant to help develop one of their key private client sectors.
The ideal candidate will be bright, enthusiastic, have empathy and be able to command respect from the teams, as well as from those within external organisations.
Business Development Executive - The Role
The central aim will be to introduce more high value cases, and to particularly sell the firm's expertise in medical and negligence claims.
Maintaining the existing relationships the firm has with local charities and support groups, as well as spotting opportunities to develop new connections.
Working with the marketing team in order to plan and organise regular networking events, as well as a large scale national conference on a bi-annual basis.
Business Development Executive - The Person
Essential qualities for the position are excellent communication and networking skills; the ability to multitask; good organisational and time management skills; the confidence to liaise with others - particularly those in senior positions; high attention to detail and accuracy, plus the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Competency using Microsoft Excel/Word is essential, together with a high level of numeracy. Experience in using Microsoft Dynamics would be advantageous.
You will be responsible for aspects of administration.
You would be expected to develop and improve your skills by participating in training courses and by your own self development.
