Bar Manager - Birmingham
New Hospitality & Entertainment Venue

£35,000 to £45,000 DOE + excellent benefits

Our client is an innovative and exciting brand in the social entertainment space backed by some of the top names in the sports and entertainment industries. They operate a unique hospitality and entertainment concept that appeals to all markets, with plans to open 40 venues in the UK over the next 10 years in addition to international expansion - making this the perfect time to join the team!

We are currently seeking a Bar Manager for their amazing new venue who will work closely with the General Manager to manage the venues 2 bar area's. The ideal candidate will be an existing Bar Manager within a high volume, customer focused hospitality venue. We are looking for someone with a vibrant personality who is passionate about the development of their team, has a track record of delivering on key KPI's and has uncompromising standards of hospitality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensuring teammate morale, engagement and culture is forefront of decision making and leading a diverse and dynamic team to anticipate and exceed the needs of guests
  • Coach and develop the team to reach their full potential and growth
  • Delivering on business KPIs by driving revenue and managing costs
  • Full responsibility of stock and cellar management, ordering & replenishing stock and recording inventory
  • Developing Bar menus - having a strong involvement in developing drinks and cocktails for the main menu and any special or bespoke events
  • Exceptional ability to communicate fast changing operational needs
  • Provide a safe and high quality working environment for the team and guests
  • Partnering closely with the GM on all operations and people related matter.

The ideal Candidate will have:

  • Minimum 2 years experience as a Bar Manager in a fast paced venue making drinks including cocktails
  • Food Safety Level 2
  • WSET Level 2
  • Personal licence
