Assistant Manager - Boutique Cinema, Bar and Restaurant
Salary up to 22k + benefits

We are currently recruiting for a fantastic and very unique opportunity on behalf of our client. This is an opportunity to join a very exciting boutique cinema concept from one of the leading independent cinema companies in the UK. Offering an environment and level of service which is has a high attention to detail.

It is not just a cinema, but an F&B hot spot in its own right. The perfect place to host Parties, Events and, Private screenings. The venue combines the choice of the latest films shown in state-of-the-art luxury screens, with a relaxed lounge / bar dining experience, serving food made from well presented, high quality ingredients, with a bar holds a range of good quality lines, focusing on quality rather than quantity brands.

As an Assistant Manager, you will be responsible for managing the daily operations of the venue. You will be supporting the General Manager in making this a venue of choice but not just for cinema, it's the kind of place you might stop by for coffee, stay for lunch and return for the premiere. So, your ability to deliver and maintain high standards of customer experience both individually and through the team you lead is critical.

It's a challenging role that will offer the successful applicant the chance to demonstrate how they can influence the business and help grow and develop both the team and the venues reputation for service and quality.

You should possess the skills to work closely with the team to set and achieve key business standards and objectives, as well as adhering to Health & Safety legislation.

The successful applicant will:

  • Have a minimum of 2/3 years operational management experience within an F&B/Hospitality environment;
  • Have proven experience managing and delivering sales and performance with a natural ability to build rapport with customers;
  • Have proven experience of managing multiple things at once in a calm and reassuring manner;
  • Have the drive to be a hands on presence, whilst maintaining a commercial and strategic focus;
  • Be confident, enthusiastic, charismatic, self -motivated and proactive individual, with a real passion for hosting a high quality customer experience;
  • Have a passion for food and a love of cinema
